Measles Initiative

Measles Initiative: It is a long-term commitment to control measles deaths in Africa by vaccinating 200 million children, preventing 1.2 million deaths over five years.  Young people in the United States are helping to make an impact on the lives of those threatened by measles everyday! Everyone can help, but if you are under the age of 25, there are some great ways that you can take a stand in the fight to end measles deaths in Africa

 Blood Services

The American Red Cross provides nearly half of the nation’s blood supply (collecting more than 6 million units a year from volunteer donors) to patients in 3,000 hospitals across the country through its national network. Every two seconds, someone in American needs blood.

Young people can get  involved in organizing blood drives in their school, creating awareness and importance of donating blood among youth.
